「Whirling ocean and beautiful island」 is the most valuable, splendid territory the creator gives to the people in Taiwan. The national parks that are naturally shaped are the ecology museums, where are stored with numerous and abundant natural resources and humanistic assets. In the time Taiwan steps into the 21st century, it has tremendous and amazing development of technology and economy, yet it is encountering a huge and most difficult challenge of environmental protection. We are thus obliged to conserve and protect the treasure of natural environments and multiplicative creatures to ensure that a sustainable and beautiful environment will be built for the coming generations. The responsibilities of the national park division include: conduct national park laws and regulations drawing, amending and interpreting, natural resource planning and management, and national parks and metropolis parks planning, construction and management.
